Vocational plumbing courses are changing….
At the Plumbing College we understand how important it is that students not only receive excellent training and support during their studies, but they also ultimately achieve qualifications that are work-related. This will eventually help students to transfer their new skills into a successful and prosperous career in the plumbing industry.
With this in mind we are delighted that the recent introduction of the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) is set to revolutionise the way vocational plumbing courses are offered.
The QCF’s aim is to provide graduating students with a qualification that proves they have more skills and training relevant to the demanding requirements of employers. Courses that fall under the QCF umbrella have been specially designed to meet the demands many employers require that were not previously available.
After recently working alongside EAL the Plumbing College are extremely pleased to inform their students that the blended learning plumbing course they offer has been recognised by the QCF. Following completion of both the theory and practical elements of their course successful students will receive the following work related and QCF recognised qualifications which can only benefit them when looking to enter the lucrative plumbing industry:
- EAL Level 1 Certificate in Domestic Plumbing (Engineering and Technology) QCF code: 501/0386/6
Anyone wishing to find out more details on the QCF or the plumbing courses currently offered at the Plumbing College should call 0800 032 2452 or email.
